Overview

ProSync is looking for a Cybersecurity Tester Associate  with skill sets that can support the full spectrum of IT communication systems and software test and evaluation.

Responsibilities

Title of Position: Cybersecurity Tester Associate

  

Description of Position

  • Apply policies and Test engineering methodologies to analyze effectiveness and impacts on systems under test
  • Conduct application code testing using automation tools
  • Analyze outputs from automation testing tools
  • Conduct ACAS scanning
  • Conduct Fortify scanning
  • Development of a Requirements Traceability Matrix
  • Write test plans and test reports
  • Perform a variety of cyber security assessments
  • Provide timely feedback to the team, JITC, customers on identified problems, and associated mission effects
  • Support preparation of Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation
  • Write test plans
  • Conduct program/system related security planning, testing, data collection, data analysis, and reporting

Qualifications

Clearance Requirement:

  • U.S. Citizenship and Secret Security Clearance is required

Education Required:

  • Associate's degree; or At least 60 semester hours of formal education working towards an Associate's or Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience; or 6 years of experience
  • Degree must be in a relevant technical curriculum and experience must be related to the job duties
  • Requires 8570 certification Security+ (or higher).
  • Additional certifications in the area of specialization may be substituted for 1 year of experience.

Experience Required:

  • Experience with various cyber security tools for conducting vulnerability analysis of software, operating systems, network devices
  • Experience in programming
  • Experience in testing code
  • Experience with ACAS or SecurityCenter
  • Experience in writing test reports and security documentation
  • Ability to work well in a team and do other duties as assigned
  • Able to learn automation testing tools to analyze code
  • Familiarity with Fortify or similar static code approaches
  • At least one year of systems administration experience
  • Self motivated
