Title of Position: Training Developer Level 2
Description of Position:
Develop training materials, hardware, and software required for training
Evaluate existing training materials, presentation methods, and testing. Develop plans for improved training methods and student learning
Develop a schedule for training, identifying course location, capacity, trainers, systems, and course materials that will be required
Visiting training locations to evaluate suitability for the conduct of training; Ensure that a suitable training environment is provided
Assist in evaluating training effectiveness using course and trainer evaluation provided by the government
Respond to customer needs in developing new training opportunities
Develop a plan to certify trainers and track the status of trainer certifications; Develop a plan to evaluate and recertify trainers
Conduct active, on-site evaluation of trainers; Provide feedback to trainers and the Government on trainer qualifications and effectiveness
Provide recommendations for improvements to training methods, materials, and testing using student evaluations, personal observations, and feedback from supported units
Conduct training needs assessments
Evaluate alternative training technologies such as e-learning and learning management system
Review training content, learning objectives, materials and methods to identify areas for improvement
Evaluate and provide feedback on test performance
Education and Experience Required:
Within the last eight (8) years, a minimum of six (6) working years experience as a course developer/trainer in a related discipline.
Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office products Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint; familiarity with various instructional tools including web-based, classroom, and video-teleconferencing.
SIGINT collection experience; three (3) years of SIGINT experience.
