  • Overview

    ProSync is in need of a Software Developer to develop software in an agile SCRUM environment.


    Title of Position: Software Developer I


    Description of Position:

    • Develop and support the customer's Mission Management applications, and will provide the professional and technical development expertise and capabilities needed to help the organization achieve infrastructure modernization goals and initiatives.

    • Provide full-stack support for several existing applications, and will be responsible for correcting faults, improving performance, and developing enhancements to the applications.

    • Some of the applications are back-end services that support multiple, core Mission Management applications. Other applications provide the UI used by analysts in the performance of their duties.

    • The position requires full-stack development, as well as development of RESTful service endpoints.


    Education and Experience Required:

    • A firm understanding of modern computer programming with a minimum of six (6) years experience in programming and development of application software for complex systems and software testing.
    • Six (6) years experience with programming using modern software environments.
    • At least one (1) certification. A Bachelors degree may substitute for certification(s).
    • Knowledge of and experience in the following:

      • Java

      • J2EE

      • EJBs

      • JMS

      • Subversion

      • Nexus

      • Maven

      • SQL

      • Tomcat

      • Hibernate

      • Familiarity with developing RESTful Services

    Desired Experience:

    • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. It will not apply toward the six (6) years of experience.
    • Experience working in an Agile/DevOps environment.

    • TS/SCI with Polygraph
