Seeking an experienced System Engineer to provide professional, efficient customer service through remote troubleshooting and resolution.
Title of Position: System Engineer Level 3
Description of Position:
Provides remote system administration support and system maintenance for Windows/Unix workstations.
Troubleshoots problems and applies resolutions remotely via the McAfee ePO console. Resolves desktop problems and requests such as software installs remotely using tools such as SMS, FootPrints, Remote Desktop Connection, Active Directory, etc.
Interfaces with end users to handle tasks of a routine nature, such as researching and answering questions concerning system function, and modifications to existing programs.
CompTIA Security certification + is required within 90 days*
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree plus fourteen (14) years of experience. An additional five (5) years of experience may subsititute for a Bachelor's. Candidate's experience should include a minimum of 1 year of engineering experience maintaining and/or enhancing customer's Service Manager 9.3 platform.
**Candidate MUST complete 80 hours of training within the first two months on contract.
