Your idea of a social event is going to a Non-Disclosure Discussion. The last time you wore a tie was your high school graduation.You have a vanity plate on your car that names part of the 
    Unix File System. You have ever uttered the phrase "I will be working from home today so I can avoid wearing pants."

    Responsibilities

    Title of Position: System Administrator Level 2 - Tier 2 Remote Support

      

    Description of Position:

    • Provides remote system administration support, system maintenance, and operation of Windows/Unix workstations.

    • Troubleshoots problems and applies resolutions remotely.

    • Resolves desktop problems and service requests such as software installs remotely using tools such as SMS, Remote Desktop Connection, Active Directory, etc.

    • Rotating schedule: 12-hour shifts (6:00pm-6:00am), Week 1: Sat-Sun; Thurs-Fri; Week 2: Mon-Wed
    • **All holidays that fall within this schedule are considered regular work days and are NOT days off.

    Qualifications

    Clearance Requirement:

    • TS/SCI with Polygraph required
    • CCAs will not be considered

    Education and Experience Required:

    • Bachelor's degree plus ten (10) years of experience. An additional five (5) years of experience may subsititute for a Bachelor's. Years of experience must include three (3) years experience with technical background in diverse operating systems (Windows XP is a must), hardware platforms and software packages.

    • Use/Knowledge of a Ticketing system, knowledge of Remedy is a plus
    • Computer hardware architecture knowledge

    • Must have software installation and troubleshooting experience

    • Microsoft Exchange knowledge and troubleshooting

    • Use/knowledge Microsoft Office Applications

    • Use/knowledge of Active Directory

    • Use/knowledge Network and Internet Applications and Protocols

    • Must possess good communication and customer service skills.

    • Candidate must be a team player and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

    • Must be able to Multi-task

    • Must be able to adapt to a dynamic work environment.

    **Candidate MUST be able to do day shift training Mon-Fri 7am - 3pm for their first 1-3 months on contract.
