Title of Position: Project Administrator- Intermediate
Description of Position:
Responsible for the coordination and completion of all aspects of projects.
Responsible for planning and scheduling various project workloads.
Ensures that assignment and scheduling of work follows company policy.
Plans efforts, sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors progress of one or multiple projects.
Gathers and analyzes information to prepare project status reports for upper management.
Evaluates current procedures and recommends changes to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects.
Mentors task leaders to improve processes, procedures, and standards based on project’s needs.
Manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as a liaison between project management and planning, the project team, and line management.
Evaluates project issues and develops approaches to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Works with upper management to provide broad-based strategic leadership on a variety of business topics.
Familiar with a variety of project administration concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Works under general supervision. Typically reports to a manager or department head.
